Before using the WhatsApp Business API, businesses must apply for authorization from Meta/WhatsApp. This involves having a new number, submitting a request to Meta and going through the business verification process to complete verification from Meta.

Facebook Verification Process

Basic Requirements (Mandatory)

• Website with Privacy policy and Terms and Conditions
• Facebook Business page
• Facebook Business Manage Account

Required documents for Facebook verifications:

• Company Incorporation Certificate
• Company Location, Address with Proof
• Company PAN Card
• PAN and Aadhar- card of authorized person (owner or partner of the company)
• GST registration certificate
• MSME Registration certificate
• 3 Month’s Bank Statement with the address or EB bill with the address
• Business WhatsApp Number
• Business official FB page

Note:

• The Facebook page name and Facebook business account name must be the same as the company's incorporation certificate or MSME registration.
• If the Facebook page and company registration names are identical, Facebook verification will be done perfectly, and the official company name will appear as the WhatsApp business name.
• If those names were varied from the company incorporation or MSME name verification is not possible it will be failed.
